Refund Policies

If Swoosh Canada Basketball programs are canceled due to directives given by AHS / AB Government prior to the start of the Program,  Swoosh will refund participants 100% of the registration fee minus any hard costs accrued by Swoosh such as ABA membership, Swoosh administration fees, apparel/jerseys etc. which the athletes will receive and get to keep. The total amount refunded will also directly reflect the costs and refunds accrued by/given to Swoosh for and facility/gym bookings.

Should the Program be forced to cancel due to directives given by AHS / AB Government part way through a Program, the appropriate amount will be refunded based on the % of the program that was completed. The total amount refunded will also directly reflect the costs and refunds accrued by/given to Swoosh for and facility/gym bookings.

If a participant chooses the leave any program by their own free will refunds will be based on the % of the program that was completed by the participant minus any hard costs accrued by Swoosh such as ABA membership, Swoosh administration fees, gym bookings, apparel/jerseys etc. which the athletes will receive and get to keep. The total amount refunded will also directly reflect the costs accrued by Swoosh for and facility/gym bookings.

Participants will be given the option to transfer their refunds into credits for future programs held by Swoosh Canada Basketball.

Extenuating circumstances not mentioned above may arise wherein a parent/guardian may request a refund of the registration fee.  From a club perspective, it is best to deal with these situations on a case by case basis taking into account the facts of each situation in order to come to a mutually satisfactory agreement for all parties involved.

 

Swoosh is committed to processing all refunds in a timely fashion. However please understand it may take some time to calculate the refund.
